Burberry Foundation will provide a fund for Elvis & Kresse to support Elvis & Kresse to carry out the treatment of leather waste.

Elvis & Kresse will remake at least 120 tons of leftover materials produced by Burberry when making leather products, and make a series of accessories and household articles.

The products made from the leftover materials will be designed and sold by Elvis & Kresse, and half of the proceeds will be donated to philanthropy focused on renewable energy.

The remaining half will be reinvested by Elvis & Kresse, to support its work in waste reduction and reuse.

Elvis & Kresse is an environmental luxury company that produces new accessory products by recycling waste materials through innovative processes.

It was originally set up to solve the problem of abandoned fire hoses in London. Since 2005, they have been collecting fire hoses in London and pforming them into high-quality handmade handbags and accessories.

Elvis & Kresse also donated half of the profits from these products to charity Fire Fighters Charity.

Later, Elvis & Kresse also turned his attention to the treatment of leather waste produced from leather products.

It is estimated that the leather industry produces at least 800 thousand tons of leather waste every year in the world, most of which are of high quality leather.

The system designed by Elvis & Kresse can convert these leftover materials into components, and then hand knit them together to make new leather with different sizes and shapes.

Through this cooperation, Burberry Foundation and Elvis & Kresse hope to bring real changes to the leather products industry supply chain and bring new solutions to the problem of leather waste.

Burberry Foundation director and Burbbery Group CCO Christopher Bailey said: "leather is a valuable material, but the leftover bits left in the production process are often abandoned by people. I believe this phenomenon can be changed."

Creativity and technology will play an important role in the process of recycling Elvis and Kresse to create new products.

Kresse Wesling, co-founder of Elvis & Kresse, said: "in solving the problem of leather waste, we are very pleased to have the support of Burberry Foundation and extend our solution to expand the impact.

Our partnership will change the future of the luxury industry. "

In addition to the production of new leather goods, Burberry Foundation and Elvis & Kresse will cooperate in organizing various events, competitions and seminars to provide thousands of people with opportunities to learn Elvis and Kresse technologies for the recycling of leather waste.

The Burberry Foundation provides funding for Elvis & Kresse to help deal with leather waste, and is also part of the new social responsibility agenda related to Burberry Group.

One of the main objectives of the new agenda is to find new ways to reuse the waste generated during the production of luxury goods in the next five years.
